Serving Palm Desert and Coachella Valley

HVAC systems fail unexpectedly and leave La Quinta, CA homeowners without proper indoor temperature control. We can help you find an HVAC system that is the correct size for your home and provides reliable heating and cooling. Read on to learn about some issues to consider and what to expect when you invest in an HVAC installation.

Before the Installation

You should remove everything in your home and outside blocking the installation areas. Move furniture and other items away from the thermostat, register, and vents. Ensure there aren’t any items near the exterior installation site so we can manage the new installation safely.

We disconnect wiring, drains, ductwork, exhaust fans, and any required gas connections. We’ll remove all existing equipment, including the old system and connecting components. Our technicians load the old system and equipment onto the work truck and remove it from your property.

Inspecting and Managing Ductwork

The ductwork inspection determines if there is any existing damage. We also determine if there are any necessary ductwork modifications. The ductwork must be the correct size for the new unit and connect flawlessly without leaks.

The HVAC Installation

The outdoor equipment pad must provide adequate space for the condenser. If necessary, we will install a new pad or modify and level the existing pad. Risers are sometimes necessary to prevent outdoor debris from getting into the condenser. These risers get placed underneath the exterior system.

For a furnace installation, our technicians place the condenser coil on the outdoor equipment pad. The air handler gets installed inside your home. We connect the ductwork and electrical wiring to the new HVAC system and then establish connections to the thermostat. Finally, we connect gas lines and connections if you choose a gas furnace.

Tests and Inspections

Once we complete the installation, our technicians test the heating and cooling system. We evaluate airflow, test for possible air leaks, and complete calibrations as instructed in the product warranty. We test for potential gas leaks if the system requires gas connections.

Our technicians review thermostat settings and inspect the installation to ensure proper system operations. We will show you how the thermostat works and discuss features so you get the most from the new HVAC system.

After the Installation

Our technicians will review the installation sites and ensure we remove all equipment and system packaging from your property. We will never leave debris behind after a complete HVAC installation.

According to the system you choose, we will provide you with information about servicing and maintaining your new system. You should schedule seasonal maintenance in the spring and fall. We set up a servicing schedule and book appointments in advance for these maintenance services if preferred.

Managing indoor air quality is important as it improves your health and HVAC system performance. Our technicians can provide advice and recommendations for products that manage indoor air quality, like air cleaners.

Smart Thermostats and Home Automation

Since we offer home automation products, our technicians help you explore how these installations work. Smart thermostats work well with home automation and could provide you with more convenience and control. If you’re interested, we can show you how home automation systems connect to your smart thermostat and how using them helps you save on energy costs.

A brand-new HVAC system should give you about 12 to 20 years of reliable heating and cooling if it’s maintained properly.
